Great ride to Madison today. Did a bit of the twat. See you guys in the a.m.
Anyone leaving in the morning from the Stevens Point area?

Don't know... Have to get the people here and then to Suzy's
We could be on time. We could be late?
Here is a TWAT pic from today
We are skipping Pine Bluff and will look for you guys in Leland.
Your'e no help at all.
I'll try and get there by 8-ish.
We had a great ride this weekend. Salute!
That NT will go anywhere, who needs dirt tires?!?!
Nice day for sure. Thanks to the guys on the Merrimac Ferry who snapped my picture. Wouldn't be surprised if they're on this site.
</br> Ha, I was just looking through my pics from today. Of the 16 pictures captured today, it would figure that I caught one of you...
Yes it was a good weekend. Good riding with you guys.
I put on about 560 miles.
And just imagine where that NC700X could go with knobby tires.
Kapnk, that's funny. I watched you pull away from Leland and was admiring your bike. That things clean! Wish we coulda met up.
And Doctor Zed, I can only imagine where you would take that NT with dirt tires!
I believe he would take it all over some CO passes. (the off road kind)
Thank you, I've had it for 10 or 11 years and try to take care of it. I sure don't see a lot of them on the road - I'm sure a lot of them got busted up in their younger years getting thrashed in the woods. Speaking of that, I really need to get a bike to thrash in the woods. I was eying up someone's KLX250SF in Pine Bluff and I think that would be a very fine bike for my purposes.
If you don't mind me asking, where in southern WI are you? I live on the west side of Madison. I'm interested in knowing what section of the TWAT you guys rode. I looked it up and other than a lot of stimulating images, the only reference to locations was in GPS files which doesn't do me much good. The only map I found showed it near LaCrosse. I'm interested in finding some off road riding in the area.
And if nothing else, maybe we will be able to meet up in the fall...By my current post count of 3, you can probably tell I don't post here much, but I'll try to check and post here when the SCR comes around again. :)
I'm 40 miles west of Mad town. I can run west and ride the southern section of the TWAT pretty easily in 1 day from my place. If you are ever interested in riding it, just let me know. Lots of good roads between here and there too...
Here is a link to it -
TWAT footage from yesterday south of Sparta...
First time to PB. Been there and even got the Tshirt! Saw Peter Egan at the Red Mouse bar too.
Great weekend of riding! Really nice seeing old friends and meeting new ones. LOTS of beautiful roads, paved and otherwise. 631mi total.
Good little jaunt to kick off the season...I needed that!
One of my favorite roads.
Sorry I missed you guys. We hit PB about 1145 and headed to Leland at 1230. I made it home last night at 730pm. Great day of riding but really long. Logged 519 miles in one day. Sore this morning at work but still smiling.
I saw about 40 old guys with beards that could've been Peter Egan...
And I also saw about a half dozen old CBX's.
Not one Grom though.
Pretty sure I was the only SE there this year.
Yes there was one Grom at Leland. I was also looking for Eric Buell. Lots of grey headed guys that could have been him too by the EBR's.
My goal is to get the KZ1300 there next year.
I have noooooooooooooo idea how realistic of a goal that is.
Ah, so you are the other dude with the orange 650. I was wondering. Well,, I think I checked your bike out at Leland.
