I hope to make this as I have been trying for years. I'll be racing at MX Rewind on June 10-12, so maybe I can make this one.

Yes. Guys ride RT's and other street bikes. Dirt roads are not bad at all.

Sounds good to me. Count me in. Early June works good as I hope to get to the BYOB rally at the end of June.

One vote for June 3-5th! Had a GREAT time at the SH two (or maybe 3?) years ago. Would love to come back for more great riding, great set-up and food, and great people...

Where will you be staying/camping? Is this just for big bike? (usually put one of my DS bikes on the trailer hitch of my truck) Live in the Detroit area, but my father grew up in a small town just outside of Hazelton. Spent many a summer playing in the strip mines, with cousins.

Camping is in site primitive. There is also a off-road ride. It's single track with very little highway.

I am currently looking at using a different area for the rally. It may not be in the usual spot.

If I do have it in the normal area I may have it catered. Possible a little more $$$ but it will be well worth it.

I haven't been to one yet but I was hoping that it was going to be back on for this year, this is right in my Backyard and I have planned on getting to one of these for years now and every time something comes up, not this year- I'm in.
P.S Im sure I speak for many of us when I say- please try not to do this the same weekend as the Dirty Daubers- that is usually around the beginning of June also- I want to do both and don't want to have to chose between the two-.

I will be having a meeting Tuesday with the venue I would like to use. I hope to have the site, menu, and pricing by the end of this week. I will most likely be having the event in May. June may be a little too busy.

Well Dave I plan to attend again. Think I've missed one out of the last 5. You always put on a great rally. Your hospitality is second to none.
    See you in Mauch Chunk.

Where are you guys talking about? I see most of you are located in NE PA and I'm from Pottsville so this Rally has peaked my interest. I hope you pick May because I have another Rally the first week of June in Vermont. I will keep checking this post for updates, can't wait to find out more.

Dave...if u have the Rally can u do it in May instead of June first week. There is Durty Dabber first week of June which is really awesome and lot of people want to do both this and Dabbers.
And I am guessing it would be more oriented for the 690 than me getting the Vstrom.

Either way Rudy. I'll have both. Big bike is a nice long backroad, dirt road run. I'm gettin to old for the off-road stuff!!!!
