When is rider check in and all that jazz?
Arrive on the 17th after 12pm in the Valley Parking area. I will have Arrows posted on poles as you get closer. Once you're in the parking lot follow the signs to the registration /camping area. We will be camping in a different spot this year. One lot to the East. You will figure it out. I'll be there also.
Friday is a Freeride day. Go wherever you want around the area. Lots of fun riding to be found. There is no riding on the property.
Dinner will be at 6pm-8pm ish.....
Rider meeting around 8:30pm
Forecast is as follows.
Friday chance of rain 42%
Saturday chance of rain 30% then sunny
Highs in the mid 70's lows in the 50's
If you can before arriving download the REVER app on your phone and send a friend request to David Stianche. You will be able to pull up the routes I will open up and share for the rally.
I'll be posting and answering questions this week and next week. I'll keep everyone up to speed on the forecast.
You can text or call 570-401-3992 if you get lost.
Can not wait for this event!!!!!
REVER sign up
Sorry if this has been covered in previous years...I'm a Garmin guy, no phone mount, wouldn't want to. Any accommodation for that or I (we'll) need to follow people around? (Though I do have a roll chart holder as well...) I actually have used Rever (on my computer) but it doesn't let you download GPX unless you pay I believe?
As we are a week away now, what is the "schedule" for this weekend? Are people showing up Thursday for Friday riding? Is that allowed Dave? Or should we just plan to get there sometime Friday for the main event Saturday? Last year some of you rode on Sunday as well right?
There are 2 David Stianches on Rever. Are you the one with the picture?
Looks like I'll be busy Sunday getting these mounted so the AT is ready for next weekend.
friend them both, whats it gonna hurt for the week you are using it?
as for when to show up, (MP-KLR650) i think Dave said Friday NOON, no sooner.
I do believe this year we will have gps, gpx, shit correct so you can download it. The hardcore ride will NOT be tracked. You will not be able to down load it. That ride will be strictly follow the leader. You will not have the ability to see what’s coming!
The easy ride will be posted as a gpx file, or REVER.
Please remember big bike off road hardcore ride is a put your skills to the test ride. We will not leave you behind. You will get through it. Marco, Adam Moose, myself will make sure you get through it.
Anyone want to take on the pannier challenge? Ride your bike with your panniers on? We will discuss this Friday night.
Rackless luggage count?
Might need them for flotation.
Wheatley and myself will be in for this. Thank god I just put some new tires on the AT.
I was asked about camping at my place Thursday Night! Anyone needing to arrive early can pitch a Tent etc that’s fine. Can’t fit the big rigs in at my place but trucks cars small RV and Trailers are ok!
Weather’s getting better all the time!
Yah, I was in a hurry at work and only looked at the most recent post that hit my email and didn't look at the previous. Duh! All good. Friday - noon it is... Looks like great weather this year!
