Chunk, hunk or drunk.....
It's an illusion caused by the wide angle lens.
I don't think so....
That's what I think everytime looking down on scale.
It’s the “quarantine fifteen.”
Oh hell no you aren't the only one!
...and I've had mine for fifteen...
I've actually lost weight in quarantine on account of never having to go to restaurants, absolutely zero alcohol intake, and being very conscientious of what I buy at the grocery store. It's only been maybe three to five pounds, but given I'm also doing very consistent home workouts in a way I hadn't been up until two and a half months ago, I've also moved some weight off my belly and into my muscles.
But then, I realize, 1) I'm a vaccine researcher and so I have a damn good reason to feel health obsessed, and 2) at 26, I still have the metabolism to play God this easily
I won't comment on Noraly, who is fantastic... but I am up 6 pounds so far... just not as active and way more comfort food.
There's a couple in my condo complex who are personal trainers. With the lockdown, their gym is closed. So, most evenings, they back their cars out (Both Teslas, don't you know), and have clients come to their garage for training.
I hear lots of grunting, weights slamming, and "Come on, push it, push it!" coming out of their garage. Then, they make their clients run around the cul-de-sac carrying tires and other heavy things, while they shout encouragement to them.
As I sit on my patio with a beer, barbecuing hamburgers, I yell "Ya know, you're making the rest of us look bad!"
I heard that the HOA wants to shut them down for running a business out of their home. But it is entertaining to watch.
