A year and a half later and I see you put the rig up for sale.

Failed experiment and you're finished sidecaring?

Or successful experiment and you're selling the rig to make room for a new one?

A good way to keep the other half warm and happy.
Put a good sized dog in with.

2016. Couldn’t be happier with this rig, the bright red spectacle.

Were you able to find the big red rig already built, or did you have it built? I am on the exact same path as you, just a little behind. Just sold my Ural and now looking for a GS based rig.

We had it built. It was expensive. But it is fine.

Hey kbaitis - I'd love to start a conversation so I can ask you a few questions about the build process and how you'd compare riding the GS based rig vs the Ural. Are you up for that?

Yeah, sure. Just understand that my knowledge of the machine is not sophisticated- but I'm happy to give you my impressions.

Doing the same a second time. First outfit was a joy for 10+ years and yes, it was expensive and took a while to put together (sold it to a friend who now takes his twins with him riding :clap). This time we are addressing all of the shortcomings of that previous outfit (range, power, etc.) to build our "dream" sidecar outfit. We could not be more excited.

Fujinator - since I am doing this for the first time and you have already been there/done that, any chance we could start a conversation so I could try to learn from your experience and I can address all of the shortcomings on my first time around? Let me know if you'd be open to that and I will start a conversation. Thanks in advance.
