First time I've ever heard of a 2010 X Country...
You will sell those passenger footpegs to an XChallenge owner in a matter of hours if you post it there, I predict.
As is must be an '07 ('08) with the aluminum subframe which had the removable footpegs, unlike the '09.
Yep, my bad, no idea where I got the 2010 from...
I will give it a try, let's see whether someone from that crowd wants 'em!
Well, I installed a new K&N filter in my Little Bike, changed the oil (past due anyway) and took it out yesterday. I ran the dog dookie out of it and, if there's anything wrong with it, I couldn't tell it.
This is a sporty little bike on the road. Mine hauls ass on pavement. Lots of fun.
Anybody know the SKF part # for the green colored fork seals shown here?
eBay item number: 330815646983
for more info
I ordered a Pro Screen for my cross country....based on the picture I saw here below...I really liked the look. But I am having trouble getting it mounted....it wants to rest heavily on the turn signals.
I had this brand on my xChallenge bike and loved it...so I thought it would be good to get for the xCountry.
If anyone has one or can take a pic of how they mounted it to the bars and the gap to the headlight in the front...I would be very grateful.
Have taken the XCo down from UK to Iran. Done 4,000 miles so far and just started to head home.
On the road just south of Esfahan.
Nice work again Jim ! Got a RR ?
We'd like to see and hear more about that adventure!
OK guys, here you go, get a in a comfortable seat...
Not read all of it yet but this caught my eye : This has never happened to me in Hampshire.
Looking for a couple of items for my 2009 xCountry
1. Leo vince exhaust
2. Taller seat, from earlier year. - could swap someone.
Yeah, I tried to source through normal channels first, that's why the part #.
Anyway, kit # for 45mm Marzocchi is KITG-45M or KITG-45M-HD (heavy-duty).
Of course they are unobtainium via normal channels in this part of the world,
mostly because of restrictive terms for distributors. Nearest dist. told me that
smallest batch for them is 20 kits and because turnaround for 45mm Marzocchis is
very long they will not stock them. So much for helping the LBS's (local bike shop)
I'll ponder for a while if SKF is worth my business given the cost and the way they
wall off the end customers.
You could try Hyperpro as they stock them AFAIK. It'll be international postage though.
Leo Vince exhaust is listed on ebay.de:
standard color Leo Vince X3
black Leo Vince X3
Long past time to repack my Leo Vince X3. Unable to find the simple to install factory kit. Any specific recommendations? Thanks!
The holy grail.... A xChallenge Steel kick stand.
Hopefully someone can put it to use.
