Nice carbon, and coaster pegs opposite of harleys. The only problem with that in the lounge room is that after a couple someone is gonna 'hold my beer'...

They're not coaster pegs. They're what you use to mount the thing.

I would love to have a go at it! And yep the ride down each peak would be seriously scary/fun/crazy, I heard around the circles there may be an Aus version of the CX peaks going to happen in Vic somewhere, if so then I am signing up, just need to win lotto so I can give up work and train full time..........

I would have thought the suspension would be best placed on the front wheel (now that would be an engineering achievement), given that a lot of crashes are supposed to happen from the rear wheel leaving the ground and pivoting around the front wheel. Something for an engineering student to ponder....

I used to mountain bike around there in the era of V brakes. When it was wet, going down those hills was a hazardous experience...… Cold and wet, but still good fun.

Most if not all of these are simple over application of the front brake.
Given the high center of gravity face planting is easy.
Given the very large rolling radius of the front tyre rolling through or over obstacles would be fairly easy.

Front brake? Some have a rubber block applied to the top of the front tyre. All have fixed pedals that the rider can use to slow down.

They have a Penny Farthing race in Evansdale in Tasie .. I've been to it... standing start..

Thanks Adrian Ive seen that advertised but never found out where it was showing. I raced CX in 2014/15 before a series of injuries put a stop on everything so planning to race CX again next year, I love it
