1. Hey everyone, We’re going to start a weekly email to surface interesting threads in the forums. No worries, you can easily unsubscribe if you don’t find it interesting. If you’re like me, it’s nice to have someone willing to poke around a big community like ours and find the most interesting stuff. Saves time and I hate missing something great. It worked really well when we had someone discovering the best photos for the home page rotation back in the day. And if you have something fascinating to post, maybe this email does everyone some good by getting it noticed. Let us know what you think when you get it. Your feedback will make it better as we go (thread). Thanks! Baldy & rudy1220

Cyclo cross riders do running mounts/ dismounts so he probably crashed whilst in transition.

I should add that I have needed to be rescued after making a pretzel of us using the original clips/old strap pedals. Still have the bike.

Most likely the soft sand catching the front wheel in this instance GP.
Riding the sand sections is tricky with skinny CX tyres - practice, practice......

But you're right, there are times where you have to do flying dismounts/remounts if you can't bunny-hop the obstacles, hill too steep and/or stairs too technical - plenty of crashes when cleats get caught in pedal clips.

I was Jardines training partner when she competed in 2015 - she went ok too:clap

She'll kill me for posting that:shog, but she should be very proud of that result:beer

How about " does my bum look big on that jersey's picture?"

( that mtba emblem is WEIRD )

BTW - we're going to keep worshipping your achievements , mostly because fat lazy old men can't even dream of earning that jersey!

    Crickey Jardine,

I knew you weren’t too shabby on a motorbike, but didn’t know you excelled on those rotten two wheeled things without engines.

    You never cease to amaze.

PS. Your mate from Armidale dropped off his ute this arvo.

PPS. How many spokes are there in the front wheel of those Penny Farthings?

    Hi ya Grumpy

i dont know anything about the PF's, now I am curious and will have to look it up!
I just like the whole simple silly/funny concept of a bloke in funny clothes on an old bike having fun doing something quirky, gave me a chuckle so thought I would share

    PS. Will catch up soon
