One sector that seems to be doing well at present is pushbike sales

MTBs in particular, but also roadies - maybe ebikes too ...

A lot of people seem to be wanting some sort of exercise during isolation - pushbikes have a green light

I'm lined up to buy a new roadie tomorrow morning - secondhand, but appears to be competition for those as well - missed out on two that looked good - unusual for the Canberra market ...

Just went out for a little spin. Was like dodgem cars on the local bike paths (as opposed to trails), people everywhere. I swear there are more people out and about than normal. Nothing else to do I guess.
Anyway thought I would go and do a few stair accents. Urban MTB. That soon gets the blood pumping, ebike or no ebike. Hadn't done that for quite awhile but once I got the technique happening was good fun.

Get up and out earlier. It will fade the curtains - who cares?

I used to get up at 7 to 7.30. Now it is 6.30 or earlier.

@poppy , those trails look nice. Is that near the Gold Coast?

Had a nice loop out to Brisbane airport this morning with my Son. Quite eerie as it’s so deserted.

    G'Day Slackers,

A short video from a micro adventure that Trevor and I did late last year on the Kep Track to test out his new E bike.

You've got the time; go ahead and watch it!!!

See you on the other side.
