Only use their chat/email relay functions, don't click links.

Everybody is trying to scam hard nowadays. I get about 90% scam responses/low ballers(resellers).

Facebook is great right now for selling stuff in my area, I don't even use Craigslist anymore. Even living in a very low population area like I do I sold my 4Runner today for twice what I paid for it. I listed it last night before bed, by morning I had eight people wanting to come look at it and it sold to the second guy. From listing to cash in hand took 18 hours and I was asleep for six of those.

I sold my RV within 2 days of posting and didn't have to deal with any riff-raff. Bought a Vespa 2 days later with no hassle. It all depends on what you're selling and what the local market looks like. The $5 listing fee has significantly cut down on the selling scams on vehicles.

You do realize that you can simply ignore the idiots, right? Specially the ones who wander out from the village. Just sayin'. :smooch

I'll say it again, bikes are selling like hotcakes in SoCal, especially if they're priced reasonably.

Yep, for me the best helmet is a Nolan and I've had a bunch of them from the n20 half helmet l with visor I bought because I love the graphics but only wear in summer for short low speed trips to my current n70 convertible.

    Nope.

As a matter of fact it's sitting in the garage ready to go on an overnighter to Borrego, waiting for sunshine to take off. It hasn't made a desert run in over a year. Figured I better get it out on the road while I decide what I'm doing with it.

I did have a semi productive weekend though. I go into my "non" working biz a few hours in the morning, then took off for the shop to spend a little manual labor on my kids truck. Him and my d.i.l. have mine in Tahoe/Reno till next weekend, so I did oil & filter changes on this thing, then got to looking at the over oxidized Tundra thinking I've got an orbital, why not?

I should have taken some before pics, this almost 20 year old with 276,000 miles came out nice!

    Detailed the interior,

Detailed the engine box, that came out purdy too!!

    ^^sorry no pics.

That being said, time to go throw some stuff together and take off, not sure which way though....:hmmmmm

    haha Brian.

I little road trip like this reminds me why I keep the bike, would not have wanted to do this on a Vespa. In SoCal we need the speed and power, this bike has it. It's a jungle leaving the confines of SoCal, the 91 & 10 req'd mph today!!

Sitting in Borrego now with a small morning trip back home tomorrow just not sure of the route yet, but I won't even know that in the morning! This morning, up until the 91/15 split, I thought I was going to San Diego via the 8 east then 2 north into Borrego, but a last second change of mind decided on Joshua Tree, which worked out fantastic.

I need to revisit Twentynine Palms, cool town and area, only my second time through there.

Brian you know what Eric says, GO RIDE-IT'S GOOD FOR YA!

Hope you're doing well my friend.

As it cools down I'll be riding through again, I'm sure. How busy was the park?

The 701 needs a piece of that action in Joshua Tree NP.

Almost forgot: are you keeping the Majesty then?

Was looking through some old pics of when I was ripping mine around everywhere a paved road went!

    Nobody in the park!!

I entered at the east end which is called the North Entrance Station, the ranger mentioned how Mon, Tue & Wed's are perfect cause no one is around, he said "you don't want to be here on a weekend". Now granted I did not go through the busier west end of the park on this trip, I needed to get down here to Borr.

I exited through Cottonwood, wanted to go east on 10 to the Chiriaco Summit to visit the General Patton Musuem but kept looking at the clock knowing I had crap to do here. I did manage to check off the Box Canyon Road ride, it's just a continuation the Cottonwood Springs Rd out of JTNP, just south of the 10. Pretty cool little Star Wars type of canyon ride. I've been warned to not park and hike any of that area though, the tweekers out of Indio know how to spot the non-locals.

I'll eventually get some pics up this week sometime.

My electric bike is even going away this week.

been 35 miles in 65 days. Apparently it’s not fitting into my daily routine right now. I ain’t using it, away it goes
