It won't be dull. Two coaches who like to press, like to attack and whose teams are still learning to play their tactics.

    It could be chaotic.

A Lot of speed at Arsenal, A lot of midfield control at Chelsea. I like Arsenal for this one. They are hungry and have a point to prove. Then again... Chelsea are home.
    Arsenal by one.

On another note.. What sites (home cpu) and app (phone) are all yall using to get scores and fixtures on. I used Yahoo eurosport for years untill it got too invasive and hard to navigate and the BBC app until the same.
I really want access to scores first and articles second. I have crappy service in the hills up here and don’t have time to wait for pages to load

I just go to Google and type in Prem scores or MLB scores, NBA scores etc. Google shows you the scores without you having to dive into a website.

I have The Score on my phone but I think it needs a pretty good connection to work.

Some apps push scores to your phone. That's probably the least data intensive. I don't use them because I don't like spoilers.

Using espnfc for news, but usually just "premier league scores" into Google for a quick results check.

I have this one called EPL Live. You can set it up to show scores. It shows the table, scores, schedules for EPL, FA Cup, English League Cup, UEFA, Europa, La Liga, Bundesliga, Seria A...and you can set it up to show just a teams schedules, scores etc

Edit - not sure about the bandwidth it eats up though.

LOL what is that? Snail mail a check to Wenger and when it clears he mails you the score? Every 50th request gets a free (empty) waterbottle , only thrown once.

That went a little bit like I expected it to, wild and woolly. Neither side defends well right now. Sarri says maybe two months before it clicks for the good guys. At least he has a two-win cushion. Emery must be a little stressed, even though they told him he has time.

Decent match. But arsenal missed some chances. And the defence - full of holes. Regular arsenal. Hey Emery never waits to shake hands with the opposite number eh?

He said he did in the dressing room. I really don't care.

Most of Sarri's presser was devoted to the need to press better. When the good guys stopped pressing at the end of the second half, Arsenal took over. Second half they were better about it and took over.

I had thought that learning the attacking patterns of Sarrismo would be the thing that took two months. Turns out, it's actually his pressing schemes.

After years and years of mostly pragmatic football, it sure is exciting to see Chelsea play this way. I hope it works and he doesn't get canned.

At least he's banked six points, because there will be some turbulence before it all clicks. The two wins give him some goodwill and breathing room.

Does the list of "good guys" include Chelsea's cadre of dirty players?

And ManU lost? Oh the highlights was wonderful. Wish I'd watched the whole match. Nice to see Mourinho pissed off.

That's a new one. Who are Chelsea's dirty players? It's a smallish, technical team these days. I didn't know they harbored an ogre.

He's definitely in third season form. His tunnel interview was perfect. Two rudely short non-answers bookended an insult to the interviewer. :lol3

Hahaha ManU! They were bloody awful. All due credit to Brighton, the played very well and took their chances. The scoreline in the end was flattering to United.

Mourinho's game plan is defend and let the $$$ players figure out how to score a goal. And when that doesn't work, stick on Fellani and play the long ball up to him. Money can't buy class indeed.

But he also has a multi-year plan
Year one - buy the bus
Year two - park the bus
Year three - throw everyone under the bus

    The meltdown is beginning!

Chelsea Arsenal was entertaining. Aubamayang missed some sitters. Both defenses are vulnerable, but it takes time to get that working well. Morata's goal was well taken.

City were rampant. Silva was outstanding and Sergio Aguero as sharp as ever.

Burnley are suffering Europa league fatigue already??

Let's see how the Reds get on today with Zaha and Benteke, but on current form City, Liverpool are well oiled, Chelsea, Arsenal are getting there, and big money United struggling for a Europa spot.

I'm forgetting someone, oh yeah, Spurs. Oh well.

Bakayoko had 50 fouls last season. Kante and Morata 41 each. After that it drops off.

And while he's no longer on the squad, let us not forget the infamous John Terry. What a goon.

It's not quite the squeaky clean team that you would have us believe.

Good quote from an article on ESPNFC:

"Mourinho is ultimately not wrong that United need better players than they have, it's just he's the wrong person to make the point considering he bought a lot of them."
