right!? Yeah i really dont understand at all. lol Like if youre gonna be corrupt, dont do it so overtly... 120F for the AVERAGE high temps.... with 90F the average low...? i guess they could play at like 2am? (that wouldnt be so bad for us yanks, as far as tv coverage lol) I mean....seriously....how the hell you gonna have a world cup in november(last I heard), while everyone's leagues are happening? STUPID.

Ive sort of put this out of my mind, because of how shockingly corrupt it is and how sad it makes me.... just came up today seeing that in the news.... lol

Something like the VAR " letter of the law" being used to promote the host country in the W W C?
Football has always been inherently corrupt But just as better tv coverage has lead to the need for VAR. FFP and media coverage is leading to a massive cleanup of the system.

agree. that's what I'm saying. for a long time, we accepted corruptness, with a laugh...because we love the game.. but when you lower the bar to the point it changes the nature of the game itself, i'm out. Time to clean house.

sensing (hoping) we could be in for a similar sociopolitical shift across the board.. swing the pendulum away from money=winning... but then again, humans are humans lol we enjoy always being "right" more than doing whats good for us

Good to see Liverpool is back to normal, play like crap for the first half, then play like crazed nuts the second half. Too bad it went to PKs. But whatever. Once the lads scrape off the rust it should be some fun. Allez, allez, allez.

Klopp.. Baby!! Figure it out ,make small adjustments, keep the boys heads in the match, steadily improve. Good football. That at the end of the day is all I want... Besides the Community/Charity cup/shield is a useless piece of silverware anyway!! ( well excepting the 15 that Liverpool have won of course)LOL
