    Spurs were brilliant. Liverpool. Chelsea...

United though... I’ll just take the 3 points and Rashy shaking the penalty stigma. Better but..

Not good enough to beat the 3 teams I just mentioned.

In and out of watching the Man city match... I’m buying a Norwich City Kit this evening. Lol

Funny anecdote; for the opening match of the season (Liverpool vs. Norwich) one of the bar regulars who is a Bayern fan, found two Norwich jerseys at a local thrift store. Bought one and showed up in it just to poke a thorn in our sides. It was met with good spirit.

    WHOA.

This is a day that will live in Norwich fans' hearts forever. What a performance by that relatively small and budget-minded club, just five games after promotion. Can't wait to hear them on the BBC podcasts later today, but more looking forward to hearing City fans :photog

When I was over there in August, I was thankful for the fact that I watch (or obsess over :lol3) so much British TV. It helped me sound like a bit less of an idiot.

    LOL!

just gotta watch who youre talking to with colloquialisms. I like using "pear shaped" or "6's and 7's" to describe things going wrong. gets weird looks.

Naawich. Way to go. Was nice to see ol Pep a little bit pissed off.

And good ol Arsenal - snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

There was a guy who called into the BBC 606 podcast back on September 1, saying that Arsenal could win the League this year. Fast forward to this past Sunday after Arsenal drew with Watford: Dude calls in again to defend his position, reiterating that Arsenal could still win the League, and not understanding why people don't believe in them :lol3

I'm excited to see Leicester starting off so well this year. Would love to see them in the Europa League next year, or even CL. Doesn't seem out of reach so far.

Hahaha.....the eternal optimists we always are!

At the start of every season, I kid you not - me and another gooner start off saying - "this is our season". A few games in and we're like - 4th place would be nice.
