Matchcast.. I'm on the fence with this one.. Though I'd rather see the Gunners win . I really want Pulisic to show his worth in a final.

    And Voila!! there he goes!

two weeks til youth soccer starts up again. <fingers double crossed it stays up...you know> my son is tweakin out.

without major in/out changes in the league, I think City/Pool at the top still. United will be better but we have 7 years of wreckage to climb from.

Oh extra good non soccer news from previous post. The new RS is the (. ) (. ) whole different machine than the oilhead generation.....

and, being that all my rain gear was swiped when the bike was, and the ride home from KC was rainy, we stopped at a yamaha/harley/kawi dealer on the way home to grab some overboots. In the showroom, was the brand new yamaha MT03. knew nothing of it... Awesome bike for a learning rider without being lame! the boy had saved $1k from his ice cream slingin job, we suggested lets do that rather than lookin at more old bikes lol he sat on it. Instant sold. well not instant... we went home called insurance and all that... 4700 out the door. put down his thou, and hes paying me back. Fun little bike without being trouble. Put 150 miles on it in less than 2 days already :)

Hey now, we've only got Timo Werner and Ziyech locked in so far, and we're working on Havertz :thumb Wouldn't mind stealing Ben Chilwell, either, and we still need a keeper.

    Not many.

We're just gonna keep recycling our aging players to Arsenal. First Luiz, and now Willian. Seems to be working out alright so far :lol3

A little surprised that they couldn't beat Lyon by enough. I was quite happy with that draw initially.

I am concerned about Pirlo. The man was an incredible player but is completely untested as a coach. I think the plan had been to put him as the U23 coach for a couple years and then have him set up to replace Sarri but Agnelli was apparently unsatisfied with the results this year and since COVID the finances have been... delicate so I think they didn't want to pay two expensive coaches again next year. Rumor is that Poch wanted 10mm+ euros a year.

I saw a tweet where Cannavaro was interviewing Pirlo (a few years ago) where Pirlo said he'd prefer a 4-3-3 but it depends on personnel. Hopefully he can at least help Ronaldo stop blasting free kicks into the wall.

Anyway, it's a bit harsh on Sarri after not giving the guy the regista he desperately needs to play his style and then firing him for winning only Serie A. Still, I very much hope Pirlo is more like Pep or Zidane than Henry at Monaco.
