Moto Guzzi’s V7 model was first introduced in 1967 and quickly became the company’s bestseller. Fifty years later, the V7 is celebrated with a few upgrades and changes, all while still retaining the integrity of the motorcycles and company that the public has always looked to them for.

Moto Guzzi’s stylish café racers are showcases of the company’s dedication to their enthusiasts, who appreciate the commitment to authenticity and tradition as well as the cutting edge, unique engineering.

The V7 III Racer pays homage to the company’s very first V7 Sport series, introduced in 1971. The bike features a stand-out, beautiful red frame, a nod back to that 1971 racer that had the frame and swingarm painted in “Rossa Corsa”, a bright red paint color. Other thoughtful special features include a satin chrome fuel tank and a brushed aluminum front number plate/flyscreen.

This model is also limited, although not as tightly as the anniversary model of which only 750 will be produced.

The V7 III Racer features the most premium parts of the four models. Most significantly are the adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers!!! Other components include solid billet rearsets. In keeping with its racing style, the Racer’s beautiful, humped seat appears to be for a solo rider, but in fact, can accommodate a passenger and also has removable passenger pegs.

All V7 III models have been updated while still maintaining all the features that have made these bikes so iconic. The 740cc engine remains the signature transversal, air-cooled V-twin, but it is now 10% more powerful. Other changes include a lower seat position, new steering geometry, new oil sump and crankshaft, double pipe manifolds on the exhaust, new pistons and cylinders, an ABS system and a new adjustable MGCT (Moto Guzzi Traction Control).

THIS V7 III also has the MGMP intuitive Bluetooth connection installed. Used in conjunction with a free, downloadable app, allows riders to plug in their smartphone and gain access to a wide range of useful information including speedometer, rev counter, instant power, instant torque, instant and average fuel consumption, average speed and battery voltage, longitudinal acceleration and extended trip computer.

Moto Guzzi’s V7 III Racer is a classic motorcycle with wide ranging appeal for everyone, including women, new riders and those who appreciate a traditionally beautiful and reliable bike. With the new features and upgrades in addition to the bold and eye-catching style, these bikes are sure to receive a lot of head-turning and positive comments.
