Great journey. Sorry you were made unemployed. If you have been to Mongolia then you can do anything. Safe travels and good luck.

If you get to N CO there is tent space, garage, tools and fairly experienced mechanic. And my wife that did a similar trip in 1979 solo, except no Butler maps, gps or cell phone. All lower 48 plus Newfoundland and most Canadian provinces. She is definitely a keeper.

Subscribed! Fun video segs on your YouTube page, too. And here’s a little smack-your-forehead brilliance I just found to save your breathlessness for the ride:

As you can see, if you begin a ride report with "Solo female", you are going to attract a crowd on this site, but it's in the best possible way. Many of us have daughters (or sons) your age and when we see a young lady out exploring on her own, our "daddy gene" kicks in. So, if you need anything at all, post it here and it will happen.

    Have a great trip!

Like Davidprej said, if you need help or a safe place for the night (we are in northern New Hampshire) just post it!

Following along - I live at the red dot if you need anything when you are in the area. You should consider going into Missouri (and Arkansas) - both states have amazing riding - Butler has maps for the area. Screenshot_20200728-181635.jpg

IN...as someone here has already mentioned, you cannot visit Alabama without visiting the Barber Museum. It is THE world class repository of motorcycle history. It will take pretty much a whole day to do properly, & it will be a day you won't forget. Really...you can't miss this.

Love the spirit and the photos. If you need a place to stay in Denver. Let me know. I'm also a female traveler, but I'm old enough to be your mother. Be safe.

In! If you need restaraunt recommendations or a place to wrench in Rhode Island, I've got you covered. People brought me into their homes on my TAT trip to fix my bike, now I'm on a mission to pay it forward.

Also when you go through Texas, drive through Austin and Hill Country. I spent my college years there and hope to move back, some of the best motorcycle cycle riding I've ever done is out there. Not to mention, the food and music scene is awesome, though I don't think much is open because of COVID right now. Lime Creek Road is a must do, and if you want to divert you can hit the Twisted Sisters about two hours from the city.

When you get to Kentucky I'd like to help fine tune your route a bit. I've lived here all my life , but , left in every direction and know some roads . Keep it rolling.

Ah to be young again! Making the best of a loss of job... I love it!! Life throws you lemons, you make lemonade.
Couldn't help but notice your rear tire is in pretty sad shape, in fact kinda dangerous looking. The father, (well, grandfather) instinct kicks in here...... rear tire blow-out is probably in the near future.

As you hit Lower Michigan you will have a few here to count on in case you need assistance. Good luck and stay safe!
