This guy is correct, Kentucky has lots of good riding. It would be a shame to miss it! Along with all the other fatherly types on here, I'm happy to assist you on the Kentucky portion of the ride if you need it. Be safe out there.

Your route doesn't take you into North Georgia, but if you enjoy detours and have to take one, we can help if you need anything.

In for the story. What an intro.
I will second or third the Tent Space rec. Definitely expand your route in North Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.

Awesome to see yellow paint, if you make it to Australia there is plenty of help here.

Any chance you are related to Burt Monroe or John Britten?

If you find yourself in the Upstate area of South Carolina I have a truck, trailer, lift, tools and tent space you can use. Stay safe, Heather and I will be following your adventure.

Someone already posted the tent space link, which is an AMAZING resource; I've used it twice so far and both hosts were great people.

There is also the UC Public Camp Ground app (here is the website) - the app should be available on whatever app store you use. It is a database of 42,000ish camp sites around the country and it is searchable for what kind of accommodations you want. It gets a little sparse on the east coast, but proved to be invaluable in the west.

Also, if you need anything around Pittsburgh, let me know. We have plenty of gear if you need a replacement and a garage with all the tools you could need.

Hopefully she doesn't miss North GA. Great riding. And if I was her I'd only come into Florida north of I-10 and then hit a different state.

I agree with Swampy 100%. After living in NW Florida for 15 years, it is pure torture to ride south in the state.

But north Georgia mountains HELLO Solid gold.

It looks like the pandemic is worst in Florida. Another good reason.

I'm too lazy to read all of the responses, but first off; EXCELLENT FOR YOU!!! I'm jealous!

Secondly, in TEXAS, if not already in your planning, you REALLY need to spend some time around the Big Bend area in the SW portion of the state. It's at altitude and should be quasi comfortable. It's one of my favorite places in the world...

Love those Suzuki cruisers, an early-model Savage was the very first motorcycle I ever got real seat time in, when I was living with a guy who owned one. Brilliant bike for riding slow and low for a few months cross-country!

What an amazing trip! I'm in!
If you need anything while in Utah, let me know. I have tools, tire changer, and friends across the state should you need anything. Or if you want some good roads in the area, places to see, good local food, etc., I am happy to help.

Wow i am seriously impressed!! Id love to get into Canada, but it looks like that wont be happening for some time. And I appreciate the offer very much! What part of N CO are you in? I'll be coming through there in about 2 weeks. I'm trying to book some time with a mechanic anywhere in Northern Utah / Wyoming or CO, ill be due a tune up (values, fluids, pads). If you know of anyone who could help / has time available (a lot of shops are booked out for months!) let me know of any leads.
