If you have any issues, post to the regional section on the forum as well.

Most of the people on here seem to be pretty decent.

    Good luck!

I thought it was an unpopular choice but I do love a bloody bright neon bananna yellow bike!

Thanks for taking us along on your journey. The drone video is flat-out awesome and you are obviously quite creative and talented.

Eastern Tennessee here - about 45 minutes from The Dragon.

Air conditioned garage, tools, air compressor, welder, trailer if you need help on the road, 204 lb. English Mastiff for companionship, 3 acres for camping, spare bedrooms, laundry facilities, wife who loves to ride and cook.

You and any of the rest who frequent these forums are always welcome. Just PM me if I can help.

Don't know where you are at the moment...........but I have mechanical experience (valves) in Pocatello, ID, which also has a Suzuki dealer for parts..........plus tent space.

If you haven't already I would install a cam chain adjuster "verslavy" from verslagen on the Suzuki Savage forum. Took me under an hour to do it. IMG_20130626_200242.jpg

Even more than mine...On the right is my Deuter ruck sack... sure did improve the gas milage (65mpg on the trip back from Mount Lassen years ago). Eventally changed to Shoei hard cases. Deuter is at the campsite. 20200801_172138.jpg

If you need any help in UT, send me a PM, garage, tools and extra bed or tent space available.

As mentioned that is a lot of stuff on your bike. The ride will be much more fun with less weight on the bike. You have been on the road long enough to know what items you have not used, they can be shipped home, allowing for a better experience on the ride.

Thanks for the tip. My brother gave me the same speech about being overloaded, but I'm happy with the tradeoff. I'm not in the business of going offroad or speeding around - low, slow and fully loaded is my mantra lol.

Ah I wish I had read this sooner! I passed through your area about a day and a half ago. I think I'm able to get help from another adv rider in CO - but very much appreciate the offer. Thank you!
