Solo female to Mongolia - 650 GS Dakar

    My English is too bad for a report (I am from France), so I purpose you a little video

    Hope you enjoy it



    Hello, here some indications concerning this trip :
    My goal was to spend as much time as possible in Mongolia (30-day visa) in a space of 7 to 8 weeks. So I went from the north of France to Moscow riding the motorcycle. In Moscow, I took the Trans-Siberian with the motorbike to Irkutsk on the shore of Lake Baikal. From Irkutsk, 2 days of driving to arrive at the Russia-Mongolia border. My itinerary in Mongolia in attached image. I returned by the same means: train and riding.

    I would love to hear your thoughts about your ride in Mongolia. I hope to travel there someday. You could write something up in French and use Google Translate to translate it into English and post it here (although it will not be perfect, it will be good enough, and any errors will be forgiven).

    Comme ça: Je serais ravi d'entendre ce que vous pensez de votre trajet en Mongolie. J'espère y voyager un jour. Vous pouvez rédiger quelque chose en français et utiliser Google Traduction pour le traduire en anglais et le poster ici (même si ce ne sera pas parfait, ce sera assez bon, et toute erreur sera pardonnée).

    C'était le Bike Club de Mongolie qui vous a assisté et dépanné?
    Ce n'était pas trop difficile de se procurer les pièces détachées pour BMW?

    Please tell us what happens to the fuel pump incident.
    Was it the Bike Club of Mongolia that assisted and gave you a ride?
    It was not not too difficult to get Beemer spare parts in Mongolia? Thank you

    It was a simple electrical problem for the fuel pump power.
    I was very lucky: the motorcyclists from the Ulan Bator motorcycle club came by at the right time and were able to help me out

    I owned a F650GS for years and the electrical wires coming off the fuel pump was a known problem, you had to remove the pump from the tank to repair. Loved the video Thanks
