I gotta tell you Tricipilot. I recently tried reading that book and I couldn't finish it. Based on the subject matter you'd think it'd be a good book but the Author kind of sucks, totally not engaging. Luckily I picked it up cheap on Amazon. My 2 cents.

There is still plenty to explore. Only now you can ride from resort to resort in many places if you really want to.

    Temecula Rider,

If you were really up on things you would know that the Cubans won't stamp your passport if you ask them not to.

    Hence the popular Cancun-Habana flights.

I think Israel is the same for overlanders.

I wonder if there's a haunting that rides along with those who chose that route.
    I think there's a U2 song, I still haven't found what I'm looking for...or something like that...

I know I-10 to San Antonio is out of your way, but not that much if you're going to Laredo. Stop by Casa Trice -OR- meet at Texas Pride for BBQ...where I-10 meets Loop 1604, go 5 miles south. Lunch stop then I-10 to I-35 to Laredo :dg
