Hope you guys enjoy 'em.
You b*stard. Was just thinking to myself the other day I reckon a Cambodia or Vietnam trip could be next on my list.
How about this then: "Riding the Ho Chi Minh trail on a 990 Adventure" Anyone want to come along on that one??? (I'm just getting in first! )
I want to see more
If you go fast enough the cluster bombs and land mines will explode behind you
Okie dokes. Thanks everyone. I have several hundred images and I'll throw a few more up this arvo. The ride went from November 20 to November 26, and set out from Phnom Penh to very loosely lap the country. It was brilliant. Copyez in a while. TF
Mate do a proper ride report, everyone will love it
I think you might have to wait for the mag for that
Rossco's right: you will be able to read a full ride report in issue #20 of TBAM. Just to set the record straight, I'm not here to advertise the mag. I'm here because this site has the best archive of bike adventure pics I've ever seen, and I'd really like to be part of it.
Seeing as youse were good enough to ask, here's a few more images.
I thought it wise not to fill in anyone carrying an AK47.
The temple's over 100 years old. It was obviously there before the tree.
The ferry across the Tonle Sap. 75 cents well spent.
Phnom Penh traffic. The scariest part of the trip for me.
Nobody reads printed mags anymore.
A ride report on advrider will get 10 times the audience.
Hmmmm !!! Now I know why my email was replied to by the automaton " I am out of the office, thanks for your email, Blah blah blah ." when I sent you those pics of the C 2 C Recon ride. John and I will be in your neck of the woods next Thursday and friday , doing the Great divide Nth and then Sth Recon ride. Dualsport Detours makes progress !!!! ( We are having fun anyway).
Didn`t Goba do Cambodia only two or so years ago ?
Paper is so yesterday.
Is this the ride that Spinucci was on?
In a word NO. Those pics are yet to be posted once Ivan removes digit.
Cambodia (like Finland!) has it all! Go, just go but don't go off road unless you have a death wish. (6 million land mines).
