It appears Honda are responding...
I just hope they've put stainless valves in it.
Rally model to come like the 250 as well I'd guess? Go Honda you good thing!
That 3 ring piston may help with oil life
New piston with three-ring design
Be nice if Honda did the rally version of the CRF450L, but that's probably another unicorn shadow.
Does the Honda CRF450L perhaps provide a stronger signal regarding Japanese manufacturers intentions, and the possibility of a WR450R?

Definitely a nice addition. Could be a very capable trail bike and light ADV machine.
Good to see some competition to blue and orange...
I had read titanium valves and tank.
SIX SPEED TRANSMISSION,!!
More so important that they cut the valve seats perpendicular to the valve guides IMO.
It's good that one Japanese manufacturer has seen the light, I'm dissapointed it wasn't Yamaha. Could be the first time I own a Honda that isn't a stationery engine
Now if they brought it out with the 500 twin engine it would save some people a bit of work.
Did I read correctly 21/22 tyres wtf, try getting a 22 out back of bumfucknowhere.
Nope my mistake other report says 21/18
Wonder what the service intervals would
Be like on that thing.

"Lightweight, 2.0-gallon titanium fuel tank for long range."
And 2 gallons, 7.5 litres. Whats that in Fuel Injectory consumption? 150km.
Anyway, if the service intervals are even half the 250L (12,000km ) It could be turned into something useful.
6 Speed is long overdue. I wonder if Honda R&D has been watching the Europeans for the best part of 20 years and concluding that it is not a passing fad.
A lot of nice improvements on paper eh. I'm wondering about a titanium fuel tank though.
The weight is OK at 131kg fully fuelled (a lousy 7.5 litres btw), but I'd have thought it would come in a good 10 to 15 kilos lighter than that, my old '90s XR600R weighs about the same with no fuel.
Almost as good as the circus.
In defence of Yamahaha....just for a moment, it is an all new bike bar the motor. The Hoonda is a tweaked CRF, plus different market really. The biggest effort made with that bike is the 6 speed. Well done.
I'd like to have a look at that bike
And the Titanium tank? Just can't see that happening, that reviewer might have been out the back having a smoke I reckon.
They have been running the titanium tank in the motocrosser.
7.5 litres so basically the Motocross tank. 100km safe range.
“The 1.6-gallon gas tank, now made from titanium”
Well, maybe then.
Don't we already have a street legal 450X?
