Problem with the rear tanks is it gets in the way of luggage
35L is probably too much in a tank but @ 25L would be great currently for me to get 500+km I have to carry 2x 5.5L bladders across my 17L tank which to me sux I’d love a 25L tank I’d buy it in a second tomorrow

Think he just explained to you that he is not biased against Honda.
    That should tell you something.
Just as your forum name says something about you,I'm guessing.

Have you got a mirror? :jack You seem clear on your own obviously correct opinions, but completely deaf to anyone else's.:dunno

Your persistent attacks on people who aren't you says a lot about you. :jjen

It is closly based on the CRF450 engine, there is no way in hell it will be that low. There is a good chance the figure is in the chocked up restricted form (I have read the DRZ400E can't get up to 40kph in as delivered restricted form, and some of the inlet restrictions in bikes I have seen would be lucky fit a match box through them.

So as delivered it MAY be 25hp, but that will just to 40 or 50 once a few restrictiors are removed or electricery fitted that will probably come with the bike in a box market for competition use only...

I can't recall any new bike thread that didn't follow the same path of optimism, skepticism, denial, disappointment, anger, KTM compression/bashing and then a shitload of people having a laugh at the few believers left by subtly trolling them...

Edit, that should read "KTM COMPARISON/bashing", not compression... Stupid spell check and TSC for quoting me before I noticed it...

Re Dakar bikes. Think it’s 18 front and 18 rear ( maybe 20 ) anyway whatever the Dakar limit was then but those tanks although built by Safari were commissioned by GHR ,,, so nether cheap nore an easy install:(

If i were to buy a 450 a few years ago i would not go for the Honda.
Those CRF engines were shit boxes IMHO.
To buy a bike knowingly it would need a rebuild to change out valves,
that's just f%cked from a company like Honda.
And Honda never fixed the problem.

I think Honda may have turned a corner within the company.
    And it's about time too.

    They may have Glenn.
They have altered valve angle, port shape, valve size and springs so hopefully valve recession is a thing of the past :thumb
