Catching up to you over a year later, I must commend you on an inspiring report. Obviously I'm not the only one who greatly appreciates that you took the time almost daily to enter all that dialogue and all those pictures documenting your trip, but I figure at least acknowledging it on your thread is appropriate. I just came back from Ecuador and I have a dream of riding the whole country on a bike some day, si Dios lo permite. Needless to say, reading your experiences definitely helps prepare a prosepective adventurer for this kind of experience. Kudos, and thanks! It was also a thrill to see Apocalipsis FZR report about Joe's bike! Hope you guys are doing well and enjoying life in your current endeavours! Chao....

I've got to mark this report so I can keep from losing it before I finish reading it.

Ryan (SplitLanesLikeMOSES) explained it toward the beginning of his ride report - had to have someone stand in because the guy was out of the country at the time.

I met Ryan in person recently - great guy! :nod

It's good to see you posting Joe. Surprised me when this thread came up on my list of new items. Hope all is well with you and your bro Charles. Would be interesting to hear what you two are up to lately and where. :patch

Yes he is. The fella that was going on the ride was in Africa so a friend stood in on the pic and we photoshopped the pic. Ironicly, he couldn't go so the guy who stood in for the pic was asked to go and accepted. He got a somewhat free trip of a lifetime.

Hey George. Thanks for the kind words.

Seguins, what's up? what are you guys up too. I'm about to get married and we bought a house. That's all I got......Nice to see you're still lurking.
