There is a ton of single track around the Pocatello area. I ride it all the time. Vaires from easy trails to experienced trails just depending on what you're wanting. Check out the motor vehicle use maps the forest service outs out they are a good reference for that stuff.

AFR road - stutter bumps and dusty but a caddy could do it.

Looks good down there One Beard. Haven't ridden down that way. Ive heard there are some good trails near the South I 15 exit in pokey. Need to give that area a try. Anyone know the trails around Lava Hotsprings?

The South I15 trails you're talking about is probably the blackrock area. The trails are good but very rocky. South of Pocatello the mink Creek recration area and Caribou NF is awesome. The pictures from my previous post are actually from an area near lava hot springs. Come down and explore the area!

What model KTM is that? Looks like maybe it's smaller than the 690? I'm here in IF if you would like to go for another ride some time.

    It's a 640... didn't like the square headlight so it's been a little modified.

I didn't know they made a 640. Looks like there are three of us K.T.M. Dualsporters in these parts. Would either or both ( fork punch and one beard) of you guys be interested in meeting up in Atomic City for a run up the big buttebutte some time?

It's the "old" version of the 690 It doesn't look anything like what it's supposed to. I'd love to, but now that school is back in and I have my kids back with me most of the time it might be hard to do. In theory, I'll be kidless the weekend of the 20th but that can change at the drop of a hat... She gets "sick" a lot.

Wondering if anyone is doing any exploring/fall color viewing in the hills south/east of Idaho Falls area soon? Looking for others to ride the backroads & trails with this fall.

Yeah no problem. Shoot me a message on here and we can coordinate something. Scout mountain just received some snow this week. Don't know what you're up for.

Yes I'd definitely be interested in that as well. If you Google big southern Butte in Google maps the picture there is of my bike! It's a really cool place up there

There is one ride that I didn't get to complete this year that is still be interested in doing. I tried going up wolverine then a little bit of bone road then kepps crossing all the way to fall Creek road. I tried it in the spring during a torrential downpour and kepps crossing was impassable because of the clay surface. I ended up in a ditch having to turn around.
