Going to ride Sat morning the 3rd...Miami the area to the South of NW 58th
and to the West of the Tpike, Sorry for the late notice, if anyone
wants to go ride call my cell. Idea would be to be riding around 9am
We would meet at NW 58th st and the Tpike, there is a park
there where you can leave a car if the bike is hauled.

    Bring a camelbak with water

    Call after 8am
    305 206 1992
If i don't pick up on the 1st call its b\c I'm already riding in the
area. If you are on your way to NW 58th and the Tpike call me
two time back to back and i will stop riding and take the cell
    out and call you back.

I just washed and waxed my bike today :shog :norton . That coral dust, from my last ride with Sanjoh and Eeickey :clap , was a killer as it was everywhere. On the tires, on the telelever, paralever, shocks, the seat and :eek1 on the rims :cry , the taillight too.....:huh, the horror, the horror (marlon brando voice)..., so riding is out for a while as I can't deal with it getting dirty anymore :2cry ............

We didn't make it to Turner River Rd today. One of us on the KLR had a rear flat tire on the levee parallele to the canal on 41. With nothing to fix, we wound up renting a U-Haul truck to bring the bike back home:rofl

We'll try again next week, with spare tube and tools this time :norton

Next weekend (may 16-18) is an ADV rally in Hot Springs, N.C. I'll be there for sure. Great area for riding, camping and whatever else tickles your outdoor fancy. Any fff's going? :kumbaya

I will be flying back to Flatistan. Additionally it's kind of hard to ride a KLR for a long ride....

I'll be in your neighborhood for the weekend. Probably in a cage. Any chance the AT needs a workout?

Took a day off and did a loop today... i75 - snake rd - cr835 to clewiston - rte 27 south - holey lands - home via sawgrass (Boca). After arriving home (and hanging up the drenched clothing - nice storm - we desperately need the rain!) I took a closer look at Holey Lands in google maps. We went back to the pump station (with the rain last night the dust was down) then returned to rte 27. It appears that the pump station is not all that far from CR-835? Is there a way to continue on from that pump station and end up on CR835 or some other road?

My riding buddy on a Vstrom took a brief spin down into the grasses and semi-dry mud, but quickly returned to the levee (no nobbies, and heavy bikes). other than that it was all levee riding. there are several small paths off of that dirt road. do they lead to any DS riding?

All in all, a good day!
