Nothing wrong with that! I love my R1200 but would love it to be more nimble and lighter sometimes... :)

Nice ride Tim, love that all aluminum style. BMW boxer is on my "to own" list, one day... :-)
Almost pulled the plug on the S1000R couple months back, luckily it got sold before I got it :lol3

My friend just got an R1200R and his wife rides an K1200S, so we should go for a ride once it warms up.

Did you go all in on the road bike thing or keep the DR as well?

Are you kidding me? I would never get rid of my DR! I love that bike but I plan on using it for more off road / long trips. I have an extra week this year which I would like to use as a road trip with the DR. Any suggestions?

A trip from Maintoulin to Timmins, Kapaskasing, Abitibi Canyon and back is a good trip.

Going to Dover Friday April 13th from London at 0730 to see the Circus. If anyone is interested let me know. Will only be there for 3-4 hours, heading back after lunch.

It's a 90% dirt trip. Knobbies are definitely recommended.

My D606's would wear out before I even got there.`

My rear D606 can make the trip with some to spare. But I don't enjoy riding the XR650r that distance. So as a rule I trailer to the Sudbury area.

    That does look/sound good...

As long as it's not some too technical single track, I'll throw some 50/50 tires on...

Would you have track file for it?

I live on the peninsula but could trailer or truck the Dr on the ferry up to Manitoulin to start
How much mileage do you get on 606?

No truck or trailer on this end. I have a dual sport so I don't need one. But if someone has a spare spot I may be interested.

I get a season out of a rear including doing the 4-day trip above. Do probably 8 days of hard riding.

Weather is looking good for Dover, a high of 12 degrees. If anyone is interested, leaving London at 0730.
