New day new ride. My SO adjusts her cool new ebay sourced Vario cases in Cadiz
Found a wood trestle bridge on an abandoned ROW.
Where is this? Also where is the the other "sister tunnel" to the Moonville tunnel? Thanks!!
That cool trestle bridge was around Hopedale. It is on an abandoned ROW that runs almost North/South and terminates in the active ROW. I will get a better location description for you . Its right off a road and its worth the trip if you're into old railroad stuff.
Bristol Tunnel is Moonville's sister: same brick work style, same brick made name plate on top. Its in rough shape. From New Lexington, rt 93 south to Dutch Ridge road, (Twnshp 7) west on it. Keep looking for an abandoned ROW, there is probably a four wheel track there. Walk it south, maybe half a mile, stay on the ROW and you'll find the portal. I have not been there in years, the walk is rough and you have to look for the ROW.
Thank you very much. I'll definitely take a trip down there and take a look!!
