He doesn't have a handle (yet). Yesterday was the first time he's ever stood up on a bike, he just picked up the AT after years of cruisers. He did well considering the slop.

Yes he did. It must have been traumatic have such a mucky bike afterward.

went out last night for a little spin. I wanted to see if my fuel reserve light actually worked (I hadn't seen it in the first 2300 kms) and it does. It came on at 253 km and I pulled into the garage with 288 showing but I must have been running on fumes. I am sure the mileage has gone down from stock but I feel it is still fine and something I can live with. I remembered why it is never a good reason to ride in the evening, the deer are all over the place just waiting to throw themselves in front of you. Glad for going slower and good brakes. Here are a few pics, the light is so much nicer than during midday. The Fuji continues to amaze me!

I have the Fuji X-H1, and with the image stabilization I am really liking it. I have been a Fuji fan for a long time but mostly shot Nikon full frame but now I don't use that system much any more. And the small, cheap Fuji F2 primes are perfect for out on the bike.

Some of the back roads are narrower than usual.

That stop with the long view just never gets old for me. Even tho you are just hitting the pace when you get there, I still stop and take it all in. Great shots as always, and really pleased to see everyone’s new rides.
