I am off July 1-10 and intend on taking a motorcycle trip, whereabouts yet to be determined. Maybe (probably) North Cascades and then over to Glacier via small roads. I was going to go with Meredith but she took a new job and can't take the time off now, and then I was going to go with a buddy from NC that just discharged from the Army but he just got hired by a department in NC so he's out... so I'm solo. I like being solo... but I enjoy company too so just to throw this out there, if anyone wants to come they are welcome. I can adjust days if needed, we don't have to be gone for 10 days if that isn't conducive to your schedule.

I ride fast, I renegade camp, I sneak into free hotel continental breakfasts and act like a guest, I curse a lot, I eat garbage at shithole diners and then fart all night long, I stop a lot to take pictures, I pass people inappropriately, and I ogle tight little turd-cutters as they strut their shit down city streets and sometimes make a U-turn to ogle the front view, and I shower about once every 6 days. I ain't for everyone.

    I await your response.

Basically after reading his posts I feel like I am a younger, non-weed toking, Hop Sing. I'm fucking tempted to take him up on his offer of sneaking onto a train and riding it like a hobo.

Dammit. I can't even consider this because I'll be in Alaska at that time.

If you spend a week riding trains with Hop Sing you will most likely find yourself questioning life and work, and ways of living.
Then you'll have 4 or 5 trials bikes show up in house, and every weekend will be filled with trials events, then it will be all week every week till about Sept. Camping non stop will be normal.
During breaks from camping train rides will occur................The department will get along with out you.

If you don't want to go all the way into the top of MT. you can take the Pole bridge rd. around the back way and head to Red meadows.. Lots of good camping..This will pop you out almost in Eureka and more (back roads ) across Lake Kooanusa will take you to Yaak (NF 92)....:D

I like the sneaking into continental breakfast idea.

That was a damn good shaker last night. Kymkemp.com shows two at once. The haus rose, sank, and went diagonal for quite a while.

We just barely felt it in McKinleyville.
I bet if I wasn’t sitting down I wouldn’t have noticed it at all.

The Great Race will have a stop over in Eureka Tuesday the 25th at 5 PM if any of you locals are interested. Some where along 2nd St. according to the info I saw. The race is a Rally type event that left the So-Cal area and will finish in Tacoma. I am going to try and be at their lunch break/stop in Willits the 25th,sounds like fun. They have a FB page if interested in the details.
