I sense you are... 'whimsical' about that.

BTW: The blog was GREAT. Awesome photos, good narrative.
You could do do adventure blogs for a living.

Finally had me a Deb's hamburger today. Pretty decent. The clientele was...ermm... eccentric?

LCZs were out in full force (4) in Petrolia, too.

Think I probably bent another (3rd) V-Strom wheel on Mattole Rd. Goddamn it, Humboldt County!

I need a little of whatever “condition “ you guys have that makes you take so many photos.
A little but not as much as you have.
We just got back from almost a month loop up through British Columbia and I think I took about 10 photos.

Seriously though, you must stop and look at stuff? Just grab a few pics when you do; doesn't take any extra time.

I'd be interested in your BC trip. Motorcycle or truck? Details? Post your pics!

I'm always disappointed you don't do some sort of writeup on your Baja trips.

I took a cruise to Alaska in July I took more than 850 pictures on one day. Sometimes you just have to make sure you have the shots.

It's a bit of a pain in the ass to sort through, though.

It was a family ( wife and dogs) trip with the fifth wheel. I opted to leave the Husky at home and focused mainly on hiking and mountain biking.
I never really gave much thought to doing a trip report.
Maybe I’ll do something for this winters ride to Costa Rica.
Of course I haven’t seen the inside of an English class room in Almost 45 years, so there’s that.

In the meanwhile. Salmon River road (north through Sawyers Bar) has some
very recently chip-sealed sections. County road crews are also working on the slipout
by Sawyers Bar. Nothing remarkable though !
