Same with mine... but they deteriorate at the folds... when kept in a 'front fender bag'.
(Or at least the tube brand I had did. )
New tire. Put the old one in a new tire and put a new one the bag.

I have been thru Hoopa a few times. Memorial Day weekend 2012 I was on my 2004 FJR on CA 96, in the rain, lost the front end at 35mph just S out of town. Kinda bald tires and ran up on a tall 'road reflector', ATGATT did it's job. A few zip-ties, dust off, rode the 400 miles home. Even got a speeding ticket on I5 in Red Bluff. Not my best day.
Outstanding area to ride. I did Bald Hills Rd this year. This whole area is motorcycling Nirvana.

I did a version of that in Petrolia, pinch flatted somehow with fat 140x17 tire on my DR,popped it up on the centerstand and had it all figgered out, until I saw my spare "new" tube had cracked at the folded parts. No patches. So I stuffed a fat 21" tube in after trying to scrounge patches from locals.

About the time I had it buttoned up a local showed up with a bicycle patch. So on a hunch I patched the tube and took off..........................Hot day so the 21" tube melted and went flat at gas station in Laytonville.........
Causing the bike to fall over at gas pumps and leak gas and people scrambling around pretty fast to find me inside store.

I picked it up pushed it to the next pump, then it fell over again. I filled it with gas and then proceeded to change out the rear tube again in front of the Chevron in Laytonville. Everyone offering advice, and I thought about a motel.

But rode back to Chico in the dark over Mendocino summit with no mas flat fixing stuff...... Made it home at 9 PM,after starting at 5:30 AM. Day after 58th b-day....solid 530 mile day out.

Its really a good idea to keep an eye on all tire fixing stuff on bike, all of it. This cheap little electric pump has worked many, many times, for my flats and others.

I believe some Roman general or some such guy from antiquity said
“ a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
I’m leaving in a few minutes for three weeks or so of Moto riding in old Mexico.
My ambitious plan is to take at least one photo a day

Rain and cold never used to bother me, but at my advanced age I am in search of warmer climes. Heading for Death Valley on Jan 26th. Have reservation at Furnace Creek CG (#110) for four nights. Can't wait. I will be by myself if anyone wants to share a camp space.

Will see if I can root it out.

I found out that Showers Pass is snowed shut. Did not expect that. Kneeland, Mtn View, Redwood House all open. And all slimy.

I had the G310GS out but not riding. I was rigging up an ATV winch to pull the bike up the ramp and into the pickup bed. I don't dare try riding it up. Sucks getting old but it worked. As to the weather, I didn't get wet or cold. so there is that.
