If you like riding the Bill Hill Hollow Rd then you would like my first section of the Southern Eye’s Shawnee Loop. All year round legal roads. I will have another track in that area later that is year round but much more difficult. The connection tracks can be skipped except over by the Hog Rock area which I have that one FS road.

190 miles of the Western 2014 @ Loosenut yesterday, mainly following the route out of Murphysboro.

Crazy how 6 years and ten months apart resulted in temps being 95 deg instead of 20 deg. I’ve made a public route from Cape Girardeau in the Scenic app (named SW ILLINOIS) that covers this same route. It’s 213 miles. I plan on waiting for it to cool off a bunch before riding it again.

Once tracks are complete, I will likely be adding it to the mapping/navigation section. For now while building the SET tracks it will remain in the local forum settings unless someone convinced me otherwise.

Easy. Just download the free Scenic app. Then search for public routes in the Southern Illinois area.

My search on Play Store doesn't turn up an app called scenic. It shows REVER, Kurviger and a few others. Is scenic the full name of this app? Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I see on the Scenic web site that he is working on an Android version and hopes to have it early next year. Do you have a .gpx file that you could share?

I always forget about that until someone else mentions going to it.

It appears that to make a .gpx file from a route you have to pay for the upgraded version. I’m still using the free one.

    Ok, thanks for checking.
