    BigDog meets the BigBoy
While watching it come over the trestle I fully expected Godzilla to rise out of the river and swat the helicopter out of the sky and send the big boy to the bottom of the river.

    That picture was awesome 1stgen.
There was no smoke going over the trestle-----I'm thinkin' he had plenty of steam pressure and was going slow------he cut the oil burner off.

Or-----------the diesel was pushing it for some reason. He had pressure or he wouldn't have been able to toot his whistle.

We caught it at Jacob and Rockwood. Don’t tell anyone but I like the 844 better.

I caught it going across the Big Muddy where I thought I’d see Big Dog also.

Did you get up to Shiloh hill, I got there about 2:15, had some fried chicken, and walked through the tractors, then headed home, that's a really nice little town, and get together, I will go back.

Yes at about 3. The hit n miss John Deere was mine, the JD B with the red wagon was my Dad’s.

Stayed till 9:30, the earliest ever. Not sure on total beer count but I know 74 cases of Busch Light were sold.

I didn't see a bike, you might have been gone or the other side of the park.

Yes that really nice wagon. It sat in the corner of the barn for 50 years, then dad decided to fix it up. As you could see, he doesn't do things half assed, ok maybe a little over the top.

Best shot of the day was my wife's. Both our passes were at 30-35mph.

Yes I inspected the wagon, he was sitting by it, it's pretty awesome. I was parked over by the bathrooms, I saw your Dad's rig at pinckneyville also.

Our family farm is a stones throw away, seriously right behind the college and my great grandparents place was next door. The barns where the tractors are kept are less than a mile from the park.

Did some exploring (3 1/2 days, 785 miles) this week of the western half of Hidden Springs District per SNF MVUM map. LN ride has been my only ride time in this area.

    * Got to see Hippie (Bork's per OldDad) Falls and the cave under it.

    * East of Stonefort is Randolph Rd. Appears to be a "legal" grass-rutted fun county road. Can someone confirm this road as being legal??

    * Barnes Creek Rd, 4 miles north of Hwy45-145 intersection on the east side of 145. Yesterday it was a dry deep/wide creek bed crossing. There was a backhoe sitting in the creek bed. Wonder if this is where Massac county road department gets there red gravel for their gravel roads??? This creek crossing appears that it can be very dangerous if a person can not see the bottom. Does anyone know if this creek drops it's depth quickly after a good rain???

    * Seen the Kincaid Mounds for the first time.

    * First time that I had to almost stop for a pot belly pig crossing the road. This actually happen two different places in that New Burnside-Creal Springs-Stonefort general area.

    Thanks

The weather has been great for a good long ride. @Oldad and I found our way down to Millstone Lake on a weekday.

Randolph Road is definitely a public road, under the jurisdiction of Stonefort Township Road District. It sometimes gets deteriorated by weather and the commissioner posts it closed. But otherwise it is open to the public.
