Issue!! The guy who did my 440 kit over tightened the head retainer valve cover that caused one the valve to stay close which caused all bunch of issue specially starting the bike loosing power and running sluggish. Me and Aaron had to take everything apart to reexamine part by part what had happen. The machinist who did the head conclude that the valve retainer cover was way too tight and should up to specs.
The cover that goes there, had some wear/marking that isn't suppose to be there: (that retainer cover is not mine just to show what I mean).

    That's my bike.

Heading for Boise Monday night to drop off the DRZ to my Son. Looking at the weather Thursday looks like a good Grand Canyon loop day?

Are you taking your moto to ride while up there? I've heard lots of good things about the Boise area for offroad riding and exploring. Have fun and be safe!
