Plastic 20l jerry cans, cut the tops off and drop them in the canvas panniers. perfect fit.
And if you want to make the ice last longer, wet down the canvas itself.

Hey @GodSilla , what is the record for an outfit. Maybe I should give the Blackbird a run while I am there?:lol3:lol3

No passengers, but ballast is allowed from memory for safety reasons.

So... despite the COVID-19 "second wave" drama that is currently all over the media... confidence is high amongst the Oz land speed followers at the moment, that the 2021 "festival of the flat stick" will go ahead at Lake Gairdner next March...? :ear

Yep, pre - entries are open. Ill give it a while to see what happens but can roll over my entry from this year so just have to pay for lake entry and club membership.

Fuel will be OK from this year and travel expences, etc were put away so will be a relatively cheap event if it goes ahead.

Not sure how a Blackbird will go against a Bussa,(the current recore holder) well yes i am. No passenger and at least 10% total weight on side car wheel i think.

Only 3 1/2 months to go. Might go and start the bike another start.
