I would venture to say that we would get grub in Wallace but that is an educated guess. If the Avery store is open they have food as well. Pack a lunch and if all else fails you won't be hangry!

I am out for tomorrow, spent all day doing something else and didn't get any todos from the wife done, so my hall pass has been revoked for tomorrow. I need to get the garden tilled so she can get the tomatoes in so we can have fresh garden tomatoes later this summer. I am not upset, it is the least I can do since she let me get another bike. :clap

That's a mighty pretty bike and tomato colored to boot.

At times, most of the time, I wish that I was taller then I remind myself it keeps me from trying to buy even more motorcycles.

Next on my want list is a TW200.

Hello Spokane. Been lurking here for a few years on and off and may join you all tomorrow if I can get my morning chores done in time. I will be pavement only as the AT battery does not seem to want to un-hibernate. I will U-Turn at Avery and solo back. Will be on a Blue FJR. Don't wait for me if not at 76 at launch time.

Making it to Avery is just the starting point of the best curvy scenic road in Idaho... all the way to the ID/MT border summit. :wings

Why turn back there? :dunnoEnjoy the ride and turn around when the snow stops you. :thumb

It shifts normal, you can rotate the shifter linkage and have it shift which ever way you want, I prefer the normal 1down/4up.

I had a great time meeting new people and visiting with familiar faces! I hope everyone enjoyed the rest of their ride! IMG_20200524_111501.jpg IMG_20200524_111508.jpg IMG_20200524_111513.jpg IMG_20200524_111520.jpg IMG_20200524_120152.jpg IMG_20200524_120154.jpg IMG_20200524_120256.jpg

I took the wife for a cruise to CdA today, and was glad to see a lot of places open downtown and people enjoying restaurant sidewalk seating. Chores and a 20 mile fat bike ride in lieu of ADV this morning, but hopefully next time.

Motor Creek falls, right off of the side of moon pass road. If you don't know it is there it is almost impossible to spot.
Starting from Avery go through 3 tunnels, and across the bridge where you can drop down to squaw Creek campground, I think it is the second draw past the bridge. The only real tip-off is there is a small trail that drops off the side of the road. It is about 50 yards from the road to the waterfall.
It is mostly only known to the locals and not shared around so as to keep people from trashing it.
