Once again a man whose life was worth celebrating.
I only wish I'd heard more of his stories.
They got better every year.
The stars aligned today, with a good size crowd and plenty of space to mingle. Perfect day!
We'll clean up the mess tomorrow
A few pics from today
Live2Ride's granddaughter is a grandpa's girl. It's clear she loves her grandpa and didn't let him out of sight.
Motomedic stylin' with his very well ridden bike
I was able to visit with a few of Burt's friends and hear riding stories.
Great pictures @Ladybug .
The one of you and your granddaughter is my favorite.
I will show it to Ella when I go over to Montana next Saturday for her 5th birthday party!
me a few years ago.. with grandma and a cousin... 1973 near Lake Wenatchee... dang I wish I could have told that kid some things (but knowing him like I do, he would not have listened)... when I got home the RD got traded for the H2...
Hey Spokane guys, I will be doing the CO BDR followed by CDR thru WY and MT with some buddies in late August. Interested in finding a parking spot for my truck and 3 rail bike trailer for about a 10 days if anyone has room for it. The closer to the Spokane airport the better as our courier will jump on a plane after leaving the rig in Spokane. Thanks!
The PE 175 is really clean. Frame rails are straight and no dents. Swing arm has no scratches and new graphics on the tank and side cover/number plates. I also cut out a vinyl carbon fiber front number plate cover.
Have a fenced, locked yard at work, about 5 miles southwest of the airport, right on I-90, probably could throw in a ride to the airport.
Live2Ride, that PE is sweet, I really wanted one of those when I was younger and they were new.
Thanks, I didn't realize I wanted one until I got one. There was a PE 400 for sale a few months ago that I now wish I would have went and looked at. I cannot believe how fast this 175 is.
When will it end. Another bike showed up today. A 1975 Yamaha Enduro 400. A big shout out to @bluemtnridr for the screaming deal AND delivering it. Tank has been repainted and new graphics and the seat has been reupholstered. The bike is extremely clean and needs very little. Thanks JD!
If all goes well it won't end. I'm figuring if you get enough bikes lined up I might be able to sneak one of my bikes in there and you will clean it up thinking it's one of yours.
Wow, that 400 is bordering on art.
It will be on a pedestal. A Tusk pedestal.
I'm glad it went to a good home and a good guy. I'm starting to turn my life around after loosing my wife of 37 wonderful years and somethings have to go, I have a lot of stuff to move and the 400 was one of the hardest to let go of. I keep reminding myself what Lisa used to say " It's just stuff". Anyone need a pair of Triumph Scrambler seats off a 2013? One solo and one BK customs from the UK.
Thanks again Tim my hound and I had a good trip.
