This pretty much sums it up. The best place for a close ride is Canfield just over the Idaho border. I've ridden a Triumph Tiger 800xc there, but you have to pick your trails carefully with a bike that big, and you have to have solid skills with a 500 pound bike. The trail back to the parking lot, Cave Creek I believe, was a little nerve racking, but doable.

On your 400, there won't be many trails you can't ride. There are a couple of long rocky uphills that can be difficult, but you can always go back down and take a different route to the top. You can also drop down into Hudlow Meadow's to the east, where there are ton of trails as well.

I've ridden and raced all over the US, and IMHO, Idaho has the best trail system in the Nation. Check out trails.idaho.gov and you will see what I mean. You could probably ride for 10 summers and never ride the same trail twice.

If you connect to computer via basecamp can you delete the corrupt file? If you haven't tried try using basecamp on your computer.

Yes I tried deleting through Basecamp and had no luck. Not saying it wont work, but maybe it wont work with the computer skills that I have.

Probably have bad sectors on your memory card, most likely will have to reformat it, but then you will probably have to re-install the firmware if you have it.

Thats alot of big words for a guy that rides a honda. Maybe a new used one from ebay would fix the problem.

@waterman28 and myself are going to ride the street bikes (no dirt, well maybe by extreme accident) down to Washougal to watch the Pro Motocross. The race itself is on Saturday the 24th
We will be leaving on Friday July 23rd and camping on the premises.
Our departure time to the event and our route are TBD at this point.
We may make it a street adventure ride and follow a precarious route that may be unplanned and loosely followed.
You are more than welcome to join us on the trek down or meet us onsite Friday or Saturday.
You must buy the tickets online via the link I provided. If you want to camp on premises I strongly recommend buying the camping ticket as well. I can not guarantee how many bikes they will allow in a space per camping ticket.

Some depends on what part of Spokane you live. It can take 30 minutes just to get from the south side to north. Longer to get from downtown to Liberty Lake around 4 o'clock.

Is anyone interested in a meetup very soon? Hopefully, you all say no thank you because you are out riding while I'm hiding in my house trying to keep from melting in the heat.

It would be nice to get together soon and meet those of you that we haven't met yet.

Set a date and they will come............
It could be a Taco Tuesday at Frednecks or an early breakfast in town or wherever.

Wish I could make it. You all need to ride out to Conkling sometime this summer for lunch. I picked up ONE more bike today. This will be my last one for awhile. I hope. It was Dad inspired. ❤️ It’s a 1974 Yamaha MX250.

    Hey, do I spy a 1975 Yamaha DT400B?!

That was my very first motorcycle (excluding mini bikes). That looks identical.
