For real. I could only touch the ground with the ball of one foot on my 950 Super Enduro and it was fantastic. Give me that T700 with some Konflict suspenders!

I'm not too worried about the height (I've got a couple inches on Emptimind :lol3) but I certainly need boingers that don't let me down when doing stupid shit.

I'm capable of revalving/respringing my own stuff. I'd just have to call my buddy with a suspension shop to poach his recipe...

Yep, even with the sag I can't touch my big toes at the same time haha. You want to rip around on her and see if she's right for you?

I'd love to, but I'll wait until I'm a little closer to buying one. At the rate I'm going, I doubt I'll replace the Toomer this season.

If you are looking for something to do this weekend there is a trials event near Newport, WA this weekend.

This is a good event, but you pretty much need a motorcycle to go to the sections. Parking is tight, so a trailer is kind of a problem. It starts at 8.

Does anyone need a clean unmolested very low hour 2016 TTR125 for their kid or grandkid? I bought it new in 2017 from the Colville Yammy dealer to teach my kid to ride on the family "farm". That was successful, but then the kid wrecked hard on a bicycle a few times, knocked out some teeth (which were successfully reimplanted, such a close call), got gun-shy, and now is in high school and aspires to be a "car guy". The TTR is sitting. My garage is getting cluttered with older Harleys. Halp!

This will probably be our last purchase of the season. A 1992 Kawasaki KX500. I would say it is the fastest bike in our collection. It has a new top end and all new seals. Some new plastics and it will be a sharp looking bike. 7A658E66-28C0-414E-9B4C-586DDF52B7F9.jpeg

Now that, good sir, is a hairy chested man's man sort of motorcycle....:lol3

Brings to mind George Fitch's quote:
A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics."

I’ll let you ride it. You need to go before we put on new plastics.

I've ridden a few KX500s, from bone stock to street-legal supermotos (!). Lots of fun, provided you've got lots of space out in front of you. :lol3

Dammit, now I'm feeling nostalgic about my old KTM 550MX. That thing hit like Thor's Hammer. :p3rry

Does anyone know if the Liberty Lake ORV park is officially open again? I stopped by while out on the RT yesterday and there were people riding but when I got back I checked the county website and it still shows it is closed until further notice. Maybe they are just slow to update the web page? I did read the recreational burning ban ended on the 20th.

We are really liking the KX500. It typically starts on the first kick and it’s a beast all over the board. You get a serious adrenaline high when you ride it. Hard to believe it will be 30 years old next year. We have ordered a new tank, fenders, number plates and shrouds. 5B554728-4704-4E34-ABE0-B41410119361.jpeg
