    I kept a huge sand bass I caught once, it's meat was crap compared to all the small ones. :deal
    I throw back the big ones now...
    I had one guy on a sport boat ask me if he could have a nice fat bass I caught, I said "Sure, it's all yours!" and threw it over the rail into the sea.
    I thought it was funny. Him, not so much. :1drink

    Mess of crappies from early 1980's. Rapidly changing fall weather changed and shut down all the walleyes. We fooled around in some back-waters behind the protection of some islands and found great crappie action to amuse us and had plenty to eat while camped (Northern, Minn.)
