spotted a Hard Kitted 690RR and a Dr in Killkivan yesterday morning.

Then Thanks to the fellas on the 1190 and the African twin (plus a few other Roadies) for the patience later on, as i battled a loaded postie up the Obi Obi.
I was slow, but having a blast.
    Thanks
    Shank.

About ten years ago, I was lead car in a bunch of old BMWs (M5s and 540LEs) headed to Thredbo, just out of Omeo. I had a black panther go across the road in front of me. Just a big black feral cat... but he looked the spitting image of a panther. Things like that make a bloke wish he had a dash camera, because none of the other blokes believed me. Oh... the mob of roos I sailed through at Tom Groggin that evening would have made good viewing too.... with the brake pedal rattling away on the ABS. Missed 'em all.

Sorry for the diversion.... back to bike spotting.

Is this how it's done? Spotted ATAS with alloy top box at the Gold Coast Spartan race. Better person than I to be riding after running that stuff...

DSMRA ride was the weekend before (15th/16th)
We did Canberra, Wee Jasper, Tumut, then a loop along Blowering to Tumba and back to Tumut Saturday. Met a group coming the other way (Wee Jasper -> Canberra) on Saturday. Lot of AT's and few DR's, KTM's etc.

On the left of the above photo is an R1200GS, on the right is a DRZ400. All welcome and the riding is mostly easy dirt roads and a few open fire trails. Nothing technical.
The ACT branch do regular Adventure rides as well as hard arsed enduro rides.
See https://www.dsmra.asn.au/ . Adventure rides will have "Adventure Ride" in the description.
DSMRA membership is $60/year. You can do your first ride as temporary member. PM me if you want more info.

Thanks, I was a member yonks ago, in the late 90s had a KTM 400 EXC back then, even did a TK ride or two, did and a couple of the APEX rides also, used to ride a bit with Porky Eldridge and friends.

I'll put it to the daughter she might be interested also.
