Seen a few ADVer's around Tenterfield Yesterday/Sunday morning.
A MotoGuzzi V85TT traveling with a Aprilia Capornard Ralley.
A Africa Twin traveling with a 990 Adventure.
    Anybody here?

Spotted a BMW R1200GS RALLY parked on the footpath on the main drag down the Mornington Peninsula around Rosebud maybe? Just before Sorrento.
There was a bloke leaving the house on a pushy with a kiddie trailer on tow, as he was riding off he flicked a middle finger over the high front fence to someone in the yard.

I spent the last 3 days doing a 1600km loop, day one was Melbourne- Healesville-Mansfield-Whitfield- Myrtleford-Granya-Corryong
Day 2 was Khancoban-Jindabyne-Cooma- Brown Mountain - Bega- Eden-Imlay Rd to Cann River
    Day 3 Orbost-Buchan-Bruthen- home

What a blast, did it on the F800 in a group of 12 bikes, everyone else was on sports bikes (kawa 1000, 1300 etc) or nakeds, MT07, MT09, Street and Speed triples, Ducati Monsters etc. Stuck to the bitumen the entire time (a first for me), but the old F800 did well on knobbies, I even led the pack for a few hours over a fast twisty section. How good is Whitfield Rd, or Happy Valley to Granya? Or Brown Mountain.... geez, Id forgotten how much fun it is hooking into bends on the black top. Hmmm, wonder if there's room in the shed for a roadie?

Saw that many Adventure bikes out there I lost count, lots of GS 1200's heaps of Africa Twins, in North eastern Vic, lots of Africa Twins around Cooma and Bega, a group of about 6 at Cann River from NSW including 2 x 990's (one with gold rear hub).

Good to see heaps getting out and about.

Its great doing all sorts of riding richo, theres as much fun to be had on the right blacktop as the right dirt, great having both bases covered with bikes
