As prime riding season arrives (in the northern hemisphere), please consider joining the ADV Location Page so that other inmates might connect up with you on a trip - or at least down a liquid of choice.

You don't need a SPOT for this to work. I use the iPhone apps gibbyTrip or SWConnect. Unlike the SPOT you have to be in cell coverage but it's a free way of trying it out.

    testing, . . . .

Kinda wishing I could justify upgrading my SPOT to an INReach SE though. I think that I'll find a way to justify it to myself quick enough.

Just registered as 2th. I'm not seeing my device on the spotwalla map. It is on the Spot map however...

    Nevermind, it's working now...cool!

So the map only shows the last message/track location even if it's years old?

I'm having some setup trouble. I can't seem to find where to input my raw KML feed link for my InReach. Doesn't seem to be any area in spotwalla devices to add that.
    Any quick thoughts on that?

False alarm friends. I selected the wrong device type in spotwalla. Fixed and waiting to see if I show up.

I love Spotwalla, especially for saving past trips I can reminisce on. I then add a few pictures at key locations... e.g. 5 weeks in 2017 through Baja Mexico and Copper Canyon

There is a message dated 2015-11-11 for RED on Vancouver Island with user Redpillar.
Either your Spot account has not been polled yet or you haven't got the Spotwalla settings right.

I figured it out. Thanks for chiming in. Turns out I just needed to "broadcast?" my location for the map to find my inReach.
