Ok, at this point we need a new thread! I've got clearance from the tower! Sounds like we work our way towards chains, picking up bodys as we go, the fewer vehicles we take the more drivers per rig and we can take shifts and drive right through, just don't let me navigate, or we'll end up going by way of texas.

There is room for vehicles and trailers. the last 2 miles up to the cabin is unimproved jeep trail and is a little steep/rocky in parts. 4 wheel drive recommended, but Ive made it up in a Honda Civic. If trailers were heavily loaded we can always unload at the paved road and ride up the last 2 miles on the bikes, then tote up the empty trailers. For riding trails around the cabin, smaller displacement bikes would be recommended, but ride what ya bring always applies. Non street legal bikes are ok for 90% of the local dirt riding. In my heyday I use to run a Husky 250 motocross with no tags and only ever got stopped by 5-0 once and was scolded to stick to the unpaved roads.
If you look at a Colorado map the cabin is about midway between Idaho Springs and Winter Park as the crow flies (in Clear Creek County). We are on the East side of the Continental Divide at about 10300 feet elevation.

Chicago crew would be better off taking I80 rather than comming down here.
I say we all meet at the cabin to keep things simple. Kind of like the farm, everyone has a different schedule so we can make a 2 day window for arrivals at the cabin.

    I'll start a new thread

How the hell does Joe always find the snakes? :scratch Apparently for a midwest ride to be complete, you have to have a picture of a barn, and a picture of Joe with a snake. I wanna catch a snake.
