Harsh security! Flintstone style.
Sometimes the old ways are still the best.
The city museum was busy today with so many people off for good Friday. I needed to pass through St Louis, so why not grab this . Bittersweet since this will be the last tag with my FJR . For sale.
And this location had quite a few visitors also. A Missouri Park.
Sorry to hear you're selling the FJR. I let go of mine and still miss it.
Selling the FJR for something else? If so what did you have in mind?
All right. Stl tag is back on. Now to find a frog.
The fjr is great street only bike. But it has a nickname of Levi. Leviathan .
New to me is a 2012 vstrom 650 . Jack of all trades.
"A Missouri Park" So a Missouri State Park or just a park in Missouri?
It is named blanky blanky Conservation Nature Center. Maybe that means it's NOT a park. But definitely owned and run by State . 112 acres.
Got it. And yea that is technically a "park" IMHO and it's in MO. so all good. I just wasn't having any luck finding the frog at any MO. State Parks and needed a little help. Too late for today, and I rode right by it Friday.
Powder Valley Conservation Area?
New Tag: From early last year, A "Confluence "of Energy, Just north of downtown St Louis. Where Clark and Lewis started the great adventure.
I knew I should have grabbed that tag last weekend! Oh well. I'm glad you got the bike all cleaned up again after the class. She's a beaut!
Yeah, I cleaned the pig up.
Looking to get it dirty again, tho.
Been practicing those maneuvers, especially the ultra tight turns. Still seems unstable, but making progress.
Glad I took that class. That was a game changer for me. Blew the doors off my mind about what is and isn't possible.
Mine's sitting in the parking lot at work taking a shower right now
I practice the maneuvers leaving work every day. They are much easier in a parking lot than in the woods when I find a locked gate.
I wonder why that is?
Hey guys, the "classroom" will be open next weekend. $10 a day, camping included.
Good tag BTW.
I'd love to get out to MTRA next Saturday but I'm leaving that same day to ride the MABDR.
Trip report please! Jerry (AV8RJ) and I are planning to ride it in late September or early October.

We plan to ride it in the middle of July.
You going north to south?
Riding out there or trailering?
We're trailering, starting in the middle. Looping back on unknown stuff to the east for the north part. East and west for the south return loop.
I would love to get on down for another go at it all. Leaving today for 4 days, and won't be back till Sunday.
Most definitely a ride report required. Enjoy.
Fastman - I'm not much of a RR guy but PM me early June and I'll answer whatever I can.
sieg - planning for S->N but depends on the weather forecast right before we go. There are 4 of us riding out. We plan to camp most nights but that is also weather dependent. Also, when you said "next weekend" I'm guessing you mean the normal 3rd weekend of the month and not 12-13 May?
Back on topic, I know where that tag is but need to come up with a replacement. I can't get there before the weekend, if then, so fine with me if someone wants to snag it first.
Yeah 3rd weekend. Putting tin roof on the new shelter this weekend.
