not in the cards this year.
Have a good campout.
Anyone been over this route yet this year?
Nope. Still closed at the dam by rockslide.
Is an out and back from Westfir, 100 miles.
See: Willamette national forest.
If anyone is wondering, FS11, Quartzville / Yellowbottom ~ SweetHome out to 22 near Marion Forks is open, rode it yesterday.
Pay attention to the mile post rattle can markings on the road.
They marked the damaged road surface for future road repair, and it a dang good sign of road damage.
Oh! Stop in to the Yellowbottom camp ground host and ask if they have any drinking water....fooker said they did not.....really?
I saw a water faucet at his camp site. Not sure if it worked or not.
I had some, but just wanted to check for backup reasons.
Did have a camper offer me two bottles of water when he heard the host say no.
BLM site says Yellowbottom water system damaged by vandals and they have no water.
I hate vandals and thieves.......Public improvements are so special to many people - the few ruin it for everyone.
