Now Mongolia looks more like it's a possibility, rather than a dream for me!

Thank you for your report, you didn't have to do it and it's greatly appreciated :clap

Took us on a almost 5 month voyage and each day was fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to take all of us along on your exotic escapade.

    Hi Atti!

How does it feel to see your bike in someone else's ride report?

Where did you go after UB?

First off, great trip report! Really cool location and you are super organized. I wouldn't have thought to modify the bike that you rented before going off. Glad you were able to meet some fellow travelers too.

I saw some of the first pics you had taken (shown below) and I had to say, this looks a lot like City of Rocks in Idaho (near Malad, ID). If you like these type of formations, you'd like our stateside version too.

Thanks again for posting all the photos!

    Cheers,

    Andy

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the kind reply. The rock formations in Terelj Park also remind me a lot of the Sierra Nevada. Thanks for coming along!

Holy crap! Finally got caught up, great ride report! Dispite the GI distress, I'm still jealous of the food. And talk about a small world with running into a guy from Truckee? Well done sir

Just got an email that Veronica Feeling is heading over to the States to finish her world tour. She rode from the UK to Vladivostok on a street bike. We met in UB at The Oasis. If she is able to couchsurf at your place, please message or email me and I'll put you in touch.

    Cheers,

    Tahoe
