If you ride it like a dirt bike on a dirt road then, sure.
If it rains the slick patches of exposed red ga clay on the dirt roads going thru tree farms are true hazardous
spill zones on less than aggressive tires.

    But........ Yes
there are bypasses for everything that's not strom friendly resulting in 100 mile route.

Theres an excellent description on the brand new web site.

Is it just me or does that flyer lack a location?
And do you have a link I can use for that event?

    OK!

Saturday the 19th of January at our place in Pisgah Forest, NC we are hosting a Dakar watch party.

Time: 3:30pm till you leave or go to sleep
Place: Our house (PM for address and phone number)
    Why: Dakar!!!!!

I don't want you to drive intoxicated. We will have some beers and you can bring some more. We don't have more than two beds but we have plenty of floor space for crash pads. If you like to get shitfaced (It's ok, I do too!) there is space for you to stay here.

We will make a big pot (3 to 5 gallon) of chili. You can bring a food too if you want to. We will have some snacks as well.
We have a 5 year old daughter. You can bring a kid or all of them if you want to. They can all have fun. Kids don't give one solitary fuck about Rally. I do. Let's enjoy it together.

Please join us if you can.

Went there this past weekend. ~75-100-ish bikes. Mostly Harley's and man were they angry about the route/stops! I heard of 2 people dropping their bikes (can't speak to the type), and 1 injury (broken hand or fingers). I got cussed by a couple of the 'pick up' folks who missed the initial group for leading them down a gravel road. At least until they heard we weren't the only ones with issues.

Anyway, ran into 2 other people ADV bikes and went on the roads the others couldn't... It was a good time!
