I am trying to lower my front forks in the triple clamp about .5 - .75 of an inch to try to make my new (to me) 2003 KTM 625 SXC a bit more height friendly for me (5'5). I have lowering links for the rear, but would also like to lower the front a bit. In looking at what I am getting into, I immediately noticed that with the stock bars and the bend that they have, I do not have any room in there to adjust the height of the front with the current bars. Does anyone have a suggestion of the bar I might buy to solve this problem, or should I just bite the bullet and pick up this:

and if the above set -up will give me the needed room to drop the front forks in the triple clamps?

    Any input is much appreciated,
    Katie

The above setup should give you enough room... A set of Rox Risers may allow you to rotate your existing bars rearward enough to clear the tubes:http://www.advdesigns.com/roxadhabarri.html

You should measure your forks at full compression to see how much fender room you have to slide the tubes up... If you have them slid too far up and hit full compression it is possible that the fender will lock the wheel and spit you over the bars...
